Accountant

G.A. Johnson Construction, Inc is a well established Construction Management and Design Build company seeking an EXPERIENCED Accountant. Successful candidate must have 3 years history of successful performance in a similar position.

We are a professional building service company providing Design/Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting around South Dakota and the upper Midwest.

Full Time M-F: Benefits after 90 days include health/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, 401K

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable
  • Account Receivable
  • Payroll
  • Monthly Financial Statements
  • Assist in year end annual audits

Requirements

  • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and applications
  • Experience and knowledge of payroll principles and applications, tax reporting requirements
  • Ability to organize and communicate effectively (both verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

Three(3) or more years of accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration

Experience with Sage accounting software a plus

Working Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word

Excellent written or oral skills

Relocation Assistance Available
